Birdwatching
Allpalluta is located in a privileged area for birdwatching in their natural habitat.
Around the Lodge over 200 bird species have been registered. Several hummingbirds and toucans are endemic, not found in any other part of the world, as well as some insects and plants.
Among the most representative species of the area we can mention the cock of the rock, the toucan barbet, the Andean toucan, the blue winged tanager and the grass green tanager.
