Environmental Preservation and Community Involvement Projects

To maintain in the future the diverse biological conditions of this area, the affected areas have been reforested with native plants and wood trees. For that purpose around 3000 small trees have been acquired. One of the most urgent areas to be reforested is the one around the water spring, in order to protect it in the future with a denser wood land.

Our purpose here at Allpalluta Lodge is to:

Protect the outstanding flora, fauna, water and scenic resources of the area.

Protect the ecosystem for it to be conserved for years to come.

Recover and sustain the diverse natural resources that have been affected by human activities over the years.

Preserve native woodlands and promote the controlled and equilibrated use of wood and fruit trees.

Implement training programs and technical support on management of renewable natural resources.

Prohibit the uncontrolled use of wood trees or any other species around the area.

Promote the appropriate use of the water that comes from our natural water springs, treating and pumping it using adequate pipes so that it can be used by humans in their different activities.

Avoid and prohibit hunting of birds, mammals and various insect and reptile species in Allpalluta and in the near area.

Classify organic and non organic wastes, trying to use the organic waste to make compost; and the non organic to recycle or reuse it according to the situation.

Use recycled material for the construction of the Lodge infrastructure.

Reforest the most critical areas of Allpalluta Lodge using native plants and species like cedro, dialoman, sangre de drago, guabo, etc.

Fertilize the soil for small crops using the same compost produced in Allpalluta.

Avoid and prohibit the soil, water and air contamination with oil, oil products or any other toxic products.

Promote peace and quietness around the area, by forbidding the use of heavy machinery or motorcycles.

All existing natural resources will be taken care of and conserved. Allpalluta will fight to minimize the destruction of the environment by applying the laws for preservation of natural resources.
